Varsity Mentors is the sole sponsor of NOCS, or the NATIONAL ORGANIZATION OF COMMUNITY SPORTS.

NOCS exists to be a governing body for new sports that community leagues can enjoy. We provide a redundant archive of the rules and we publicly list the accreditation status, the commissioner, the panel, and the community commissioners of the sports.

To see if a sport qualifies to be accredited by NOCS, it must meet the following conditions:
​
1. It must be invented by the applicant.
2. It must have a commissioner and a panel.
3. It must have a rulebook.
4. It must be competitive.
5. It must have wide adult-player appeal.
6. It must have a web presence.
7. It must have an archive.
​
NOCS can help a potential sports creator through this process of finalizing the structure of the sport and meeting all seven requirements. We are interested in helping from even the inception of the idea. Don't hesitate to email for more information:
